Maintain A Balanced pH

(Modified from "The Importance of pH in Human Health", by Dr. Robert O. Young)

Acidity is a condition that weakens the body.

Excess acidity forces your body to borrow alkaline minerals - including sodium, calcium, potassium and magnesium -from vital organs and bones to buffer (neutralize) respiratory, dietary, environmental and metabolic acid to then safely remove it from the body. Evacuation happens through the four channels of elimination: respiration, urination, defecation and perspiration. The results can have a severe impact on the body, and prolonged 'corrosion' -'rot' due to high acidity- a condition that may go undetected for years.

It affects virtually every person in our society because of the way we live, the way we eat, the way we think, and the environment we live in. The result is an internal environment where dis-ease can easily manifest, as opposed to a pH-balanced environment which allows for normal body functions — necessary for the body to resist dis-ease. If we have a healthy body, we will maintain sufficient alkalinity to meet emergency demands.
