Did you know Danny Glover and Youngevity teamed up to fight Diabetes and Obesity this past August 15th in Cloumbus, Georgia?

Youngevity has been bringing the message of the valuable and beneficial role of nutrition, exercise and proper dietary supplementation in combating these types of growing health concerns for over 17 years.

According to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, more than one-third of U.S. adults are obese and close to 10% of the population is diabetic. Even with all the information and resources available to educate individuals on the risks and preventative measures that can be taken, rates of both of these health issues have been significantly rising.

Who says Vitamins are no good?

This new study, linking low levels of Vitamin D to dementia and Alzheimer’s disease, looked at the blood levels of Vitamin D in over 1,600 participants over a 5-6 year period. Participants were over the age of 65 and at the time did not have dementia, cardiovascular disease, or any history of stroke. When participants were brought back for a follow-up after 5 to 6 years, it was found that 171 participants had developed dementia and 102 participants had developed Alzheimer’s. What was established was that low levels of Vitamin D in the blood increased your risk of developing dementia by 53%, and those with severely low levels of Vitamin D, had a 125% risk of developing dementia. As for Alzheimer’s disease, low levels of Vitamin D in the blood increased your risk by 70%, and severely low levels of Vitamin D increased your risk by 120%.2

Benefits of Far Infrared Rays

The benefits of far Infrared rays (FIR) are always worth relaying. Today there are many convenient ways to incorporate FIR into your home or commercial spa, gym and physical therapy with just as many reasons that make it an exceptional choice. Beyond Organic will still produce the same great products you’ve come to enjoy and rely on for your health. Beyond Organic Founder Jordan Rubin will continue to produce the same great products from the Beyond Organic ranches in southeastern Missouri. In fact, with an expanded reach, we will be able to produce even more of these great products and fully utilize our thousands of acres, hundreds of cattle, and our state-of-the-art creamery. Again - this is a good thing.

As mentioned, in the short term you will notice very few changes. With your initial order of Beyond Organic products, you receive a back office, giving you access to specials, Autoshipments and the ability to adjust your Autoship order for the ultimate in flexibility. You will still be ordering through your Beyond Organic back office, and while that will change in the upcoming months, we will be sure to give you plenty of notice so that you do not experience any interruption in either your business or your ability to receive our products.

While this message may come as a surprise to some, we hope you will be as excited as we are. Our goal has always been to spread a message of hope and health to 1 million families by the year 2020. Partnering with Youngevity will greatly enhance our chances of doing so.
